Dave Starr

The name Art Fixation comes from our love of all things art.

He loves buying art, moving art, hanging art and owning it!

Dave previously owned two art galleries that were based in the Inner West of Sydney and struggled with transporting art and getting it hung. So he’d hang it himself.

The galleries also worked closely with Samuel & Connie from “Love Your Sister” by staging two massive fundraising events, all up we donated $46,000 to Breast Cancer Research.

We have a large collection of our own art, in all shapes and sizes, and we try to rotate it around the house as much as possible.

In his spare time he likes to play golf (badly), takes the Triumph Speedmaster out on a country road once in a while and at any chance possible, visits art galleries and new exhibitions.

He is also a licensed electrician, he looks after the design and installation of art lighting for residential and art galleries.

Sammy Goode

Sammy is a very clever young lady!

She runs the “Oh My Heart” brand (while work at Art Fixation) rendering clay to everything from earrings to home decor. She creates amazing stuff!

Sammy also loves art and our collection never seems to stop growing. She’s also a professional photographer and has had her work featured in several magazines.

She has an incredible eye for detail and can advise on the ideal art placement so the it compliments the space and room configuration.

If she ever gets down time Sammy likes to spend time with her three kids and one granddaughter, Frankie – she’s absolutely bonkers.

She also doesn’t mind a bit of down time on the couch watching a good Netflix series.
